Approval Copy of Basic Text.....This booklet has 52 pages and was               designed in 1981 and it includes chapters 1-10. It was proposed to the          groups to approve, and pre-dates the 1st edition text.  Many groups               utilized this as a text until the 1st edition came out. Check out the    

    contents on the History Page.

1st Edition Basic Text.....copyright 1982. These were the first and came          numbered to 2500(although some un-numbered ones have turned up). 

     The Red Copy was a gift edition and cost $25.

1st Edition Basic Text.....regular printing. Here is the original Basic text

     with blue cover. Check out the story on the History Page.

2nd Edition Basic Text....copyright 1982.What many people consider to be         the only "true" text. Read about why at the History Page.

Just For Today.....copyright 1991, published in 1992. There are three                    covers so far. This is the original. None of the printed material has 

     changed, to my knowledge.

It Works: How and Why.....copyright 1986. This is the original that was       

          brought to the 1987 WSC for approval. It was turned down. This is Part

          1, the 12 Steps. 154 pages long. Six years later, in '93, the fellowship  

          published the current edition which bears little resemblance to the  

          original.

The NA Way....First printed in Sept. 1982, it has gone through a variety of                   changes over the years. Here are a few samples of the early ones.
